The Center For Ecological Design, Huntsville, UT

Our Center is located on more than 18 acres in the pristine wild mountains just north of Huntsville, UT.

The premisis is 100% solar-powered, off-grid living.

We have a strawbale house, shop made up upcycled materials "the Shaloon," outdoor kitchen "the Tiki Bar," 7 glamping tents, and abut to more than 600 acres of wildlands to hike and explore.

Our current plans (Summer 2026) are to expand our operational capacity by building a strawbale barn to act as a hub for ecological design and building.

Our future plans include building a guest house to host ecological design and living workshops, and artist residencies focused on the intersection of art and ecology. We also plan to expand our horticultural gardens and ecological restoration projects on our acres, and add art and hiking trails to create a truly magical experience for our guests.
